Red Rock State Park - Sedona Arizona
Red Rock State Park is a 286-acre nature preserve and environmental education center located just 5 miles west of Sedona off Highway 89A on the Lower Red Rock Loop Road. It features picnic facilities, bird walks, nature hikes and other related programs.

Slide Rock State Park - Sedona Arizona
Slide Rock State Park, located in Oak Creek Canyon, is primarily known for it’s natural rock slide. This is a favorite among tourists who love slipping & sliding down the red rocks. Be sure to get there early because the park fills up quickly. There is also fishing, hiking, picnicking and swimming. Several campgrounds are nearby. Slide Rock is 7 miles north of Sedona off Highway 89A.

Sedona Hiking – There are many hiking trails in Sedona & Oak Creek Canyon. Trails range from easy to extremely rugged. Be careful! Bring water, do not go in the hottest part of the day and know your limitations. Stop by the Chamber of Commerce for a map that describes the trails, elevations, difficulty, etc. You may need a red rock pass to park at the trail heads.
